Die is designed to provide a uniform film extrudate thickness of the cross sectional area, eliminating torn edges and uneven sheet film or ribbon film samples.
The precision engineering of the interior coat hanger design and flow pattern provide a higher quality extrudate.
Interchangable, 416 stainless steel construction
All C.W. Brabender die assemblies are interchangeable and can easily attach to any C.W. Brabender extruder. They can be effortlessly disassembled for thorough cleaning. Construction is of P20 alloy with hard chrome plating as a finish.
Dies of special alloy or geometry specifications can be custom designed.
