Silver Medal for Brabender at Anuga FoodTec

Brabender will definitely be there when the international food and beverage industry gathers in Cologne for Anuga FoodTec, the food industry’s leading global trade fair, from February 20 to 23, 2018.

Silver medal at the International FoodTec Awards 2018

The “Rapid Flour Check” for the GlutoPeak rheometer, which provides a “rheological fingerprint” of any flour analyzed in just a few minutes, won the FoodTec Awards 2018 jury over. On March 20 starting at 5 pm, Brabender will be awarded the International FoodTec Awards 2018 silver medal for its pioneering new method in the Congress Centrum Ost (CC Ost), Congress-Saal 1+2 at Koelnmesse.

Rapid, accurate analysis of GlutoPeak readings using the Rapid Flour Check enables the user to utilize the device for the direct ascertainment of defined parameters. Low sample quantities are all that’s required to enable accurate protein content, wet gluten and water absorption coefficient correlation information to be generated in less than five minutes. These quality parameters, which are vital to raw material acceptance procedures, can be measured and analyzed in no time at all.

A guided tour of the trade fair, which kicks off on March 20 at 10 am at the DLG booth (D41) in Hall 5.2, takes in all FoodTec Award winners, including the Brabender booth.
