Muehlenchemie and Brabender® work together in the application technology of the milling- and baking-industries – bundled know-how leads to fast problem solving.
Ahrensburg, Duisburg, 13th February 2009. The German flour specialist Muehlenchemie GmbH & Co. KG, Ahrensburg, and the manufacturer of laboratory instruments Brabender® GmbH & Co. KG, Duisburg, agreed on cooperation. In Germany, Russia, Mexico, China, and India, they will assist together customers in respect of dough rheological problems.
Muehlenchemie, the worldwide leader for flour improvers, is active in more than 100 countries through local branches and representations. The company builds up country specific test bakeries in order to solve problems together with the customers. Through the cooperation with Brabender®, the leading manufacturer for dough rheological laboratory test instruments for the milling- and baking-industries, customers can get better assistance due to the combination of the two technologies – flour improvement and the later analytical evaluation.
Basically that means that customers would like to improve the properties of available flour and change it. Through dialogues with the local application technicians problems can be solved quickly. Afterwards they can be monitored and evaluated analytically with the Brabender® dough rheology.
Brabender® equips many baking and milling laboratories worldwide with the instruments Farinograph®, Extensograph®, Amylograph®, and Glutograph. General Manager Dr. Harald Büchel emphasized: That cooperation will increase and improve the local education and technical knowledge of our milling customers in these regions. Lennart Kutschinski, general manager of the Muehlenchemie promises his customers through this new synergy high benefit. “Due to decreasing resources of time and personnel, it is even more important to bundle know-how and to offer millers and bakers a knowledge fund.”
